Contract Rates in 2005
Our survey provides space for respondents to show full-time or part-time work at hourly rates as contractors, either as agency contractors (report income on W2) or direct contractors (report income on 1099). The number of respondents was so small that these data may not be particularly reliable so we have compared them to Atlanta data, which had a slightly larger base in their 2002 survey. (Their most current information is from their 2003 salary survey, but they had much lower responses that year, ten reporting W2 and three 1099.)
