2004 Huntsville STC Salary Survey Report
December 2004

• Employers benefit from information on compensation trends in the profession. In periods of high demand it can be crucial to understand how compensation influences an employers ability to attract and retain employees.

The winner of this year's survey contest drawing was Jason Shoemate, who works at NASA.
Brief Summary - We received 146 usable surveys from part-time and full-time technical communicators.  (Surveys that did not report gross salary had to be discarded.)  Compensation analysis is based on 125 full-time salaried respondents.  Data from part-time workers will be analyzed separately.
