Tingting Wu

Dr. Tingting Wu

The College of Engineering at UAH is very pleased to welcome Dr. Tingting Wu, appointed as Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in August 2014. Her doctoral research involved development and evaluation of engineered media that can be utilized to remove dissolved phosphorus in urban waters from both point source and non-point source. Most recently, Tingting worked as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Miami focusing on the development of design principles for low-energy, low-emissions net-zero water buildings of the future. Her research interests include sustainable water/wastewater treatment and reuse, advanced water treatment, and stormwater/non-point source pollution control.

Dr. Wu earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of Florida in Dec. 2010. She received B. Eng and M. Eng from Tongji University, China and National University of Singapore, respectively.
