Aerospace Engineering, North Carolina State University Aerospace Engineering, Texas A&M University Aerospace Engineering, Texas A&M University Biography Dr. Landrum teaches courses in aircraft and missile aerodynamics, and aerospace vehicle design. He also created and teaches the introductory Principles of Aeronautics and Astronautics course. His research interests include unmanned aerial vehicle design and applications, low-cost flight simulation, missile aerodynamics, hypersonics and aerospace history. Dr. Landrum has authored or co-authored approximately 80 journal articles and technical papers. He has advised 3 PhD and 33 Master of Science degree graduates that are currently employed at various government and commercial organizations including NASA, U.S. Army AMRDEC, U.S. MSIC, SAIC, Dynetics, ISSI, Aerojet, United Technologies Research Center, Rockwell Collins and the Japanese Defense Agency. Dr. Landrum is the faculty advisor for the UAHuntsville student chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is an associate fellow of the AIAA and a member of the AIAA Education Book series Advisory Board. He is also a member of the AUVSI, the American Helicopter Society (AHS), and the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE).
