Tech Trek

UAH’s first Tech Trek an unqualified success

fahimi 1x2Congratulations to Dr. Fahimi (PI, MAE) and Dr. Aygun (Co-PI, CS) on the award of an NSF grant to provide summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) with fundamental research topics related to unmanned systems. Research topics include: Autonomous Control, Computer Vision & Mining, Sensor Integration, Human-Agent Communication, Structural Health Monitoring, Data & Video Compression, and Biochemical Characterization.

 

The program starts on June 2, 2014 and ends on August 8, 2014.

 

Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 22, 2014. 

 

Applicants must be 18 years old by June 1st, a US citizen or permanent resident of the US or its territories, and be a student in good standing in an 2-year or 4-year undergraduate degree program who will not have graduated by the end of the REU program.
