Use the job description below to guide you in picking your top two choices. Make a note of the names of your top two, and justify your choices in a memo to me. In the memo, emphasize the aspects of the resumés that led you to choose these two. See the resumé checklist in POTW chapter 12 for guidance on evaluating resumés. Specifically state why the two resumés stood out above the others. Print and sign this memo. The grade for this lab will be the grade for the memo.

Part 2: Results Reports

During the last 15 minutes of lab, we will discuss your choices and your responses to the online resumés.

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience in propulsion or fluid dynamics preferred
• Good team work, communications skills

Duties Include:

• Computer-intensive dynamic modeling of propulsion flow systems
• Analyze post-test data for flaws in propellants, etc.

Software/Programming Experience Preferred

• AutoCAD
• FORTRAN or C++
• PC Windows and major word processing/spreadsheet applications
