| Option #1: Block 175 |

"Block 175" provides credits for 175 pre-paid meals (including tax) in the Charger Cafe that can be used for any combination of breakfasts, lunches, brunches or dinners, all-you-care-to-eat. "Block 175" provides approximately 12 meals per week. You may use meal credits to host family members or friends.
If, on occasion, you wish to dine elsewhere, a meal credit equivalency of $4.25 will be honored at Jazzman's, Freshens or the Bevill Center. "Block 175" is our best value meal plan, provided that you utilize most of your meal credits. It provides excellent meals at discounted prices, but unused meal credits expire at the end of each semester. Dining Dollars rollover from Fall to Spring but expire at the end of each spring semester. |

"Block 150 plus 50 Dining Dollars" has the same benefits and restrictions as "Block 175" with the exception that 150 rather than 175 meals are provided, along with 50 "Dining Dollars". The "Dining Dollars" can be used for retail purchases at Jazzman's, Freshens, the Bevill Center and the Charger Cafe.
As in "Block 175", unused meal credits expire at the end of the semester. Dining Dollars, however, carry over from the fall to spring semester but expire at the end of each spring semester. |

Option #5: Block 25 |

"Block 25" has the same benefits and restrictions as "Block 175" with the exception that 25 rather than 175 meals
are provided. This plan is great for commuter students or the casual diner.

What is a Block?
A block is a set amount of meals that may be used at your discretion during the semester. Each time you use a meal or
meals in the Charger Cafe, the number of meals on your card is reduced by the number of meals used.
What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars work like a Debit Card. The appropriate Dining Dollars are placed on your ID card and any amount spent will be deducted from your balance. This allows for more convenience and means that you do not need to carry cash around campus to purchase food.
Do meals on a Block Plan carry over to the next semester?
Meals on a block plan do not carry over to the next semester but can be used for family and friends or as equivalencies in
Jazzman's, Freshens or the Bevill Center.
What does Meal Plan Equivalency mean?
A meal plan equivalency means that if you decide to use a meal from your block plan in Mom's at Jazzman's or Freshens or
at the Bevill Center, you will receive $4.25 towards your purchase for each meal used. Any amount above $4.25
(including tax) can be paid by using Dining Dollars, Flex Dollars or Cash. No change will be given when using meal plan
equivalencies if less than $4.25 is spent. |
How much can I eat for each meal that I use in the Charger Cafe?
You can have all-you-care-to-eat during each visit to the Charger Cafe.
Where can I use Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars may be used in any campus dining location including the Charger Cafe, in Mom's at Jazzman's or Freshens
and at the Bevill Center.
Do Dining Dollars carry over to the next semester?
Dining Dollars carry over from the Fall semester to the Spring semester but expire at the end of each Spring semester.
How much are meals in the Charger Cafe?
If you do not have a block plan, meals can be purchased using Dining Dollars, Flex Dollars or cash as follows:
Breakfast - $5.00 |
