True New Orleans style jazz,
swing, and blues!
The UAH Dance Club will be hosting the nationally recognized New Orleans band
next Monday, May 4.
THE LOOSE MARBLES will be travelling through Huntsville on a tour of several
cities, and will be stopping
at UAH for one night only!
THE LOOSE MARBLES is a ragtag group
of street musicians with a distinctly New Orleans sound. Whether they play
sultry blues or hot jazz, they are sure to get people dancing and having a
grand old-time.
CHANCE and AMY
Chance Bushman and Amy Johnson have been performing with The Loose Marbles for
over two years now. They bring to every class a great understanding of music,
connection, and communication in social dance that is unique and accessible to
all levels.

The UAH Dance Club exists to promote
dancing by providing a place for students and members of the community to learn
and enjoy dance. Under the guidance of several faculty and student officers at
the University the club holds dances, lessons, and workshops available to UAH
students and the community.
We would like to thank all the
students and club members who took part in our events. We hope to make this a
successful series of events for the following year.
Our membership fees for UAH faculty,
staff and the general public are 15 dollars for the year (August 2008 - July
2009). Membership in this club grants voting privileges, access to our
informative mailing list and access to all regular dance events at reduced rates.
