S. Daniel Daugherty II, 2003 B.S., computer science, is a technical writer at Williamson Intellectual Property Law, LLC, in Atlanta. He is studying for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office exam to become a patent agent. He received his J.D. and his master's in intellectual property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire, and has studied intellectual property in China and Ireland.

Welcome to our website! The College of Science is one of five colleges that make up UAH. We have more than 1,100 students in the College of Science about 800 of whom are undergraduates. About 80% of our undergraduate students are from Alabama. Our graduate students come from across the U.S. and throughout the world. We offer degrees in atmospheric science, biology, biotechnology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, materials science, optical science, and physics.
