| Research Interests: Freshwater fishes of North America, especially Fundulus killifish; early life history of fishes; short-term acidification processes in freshwater ponds; saltmarsh ecology. Currently serve as President of the North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA), a group supporting the study, enjoyment and protection of native fishes.
