Welcome to the Boyd lab web page. Research in our lab utilizes the soil nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans, as a model system.

We are investigating the ubiquitin pathway in C. elegans. Ubiquitin is a highly conserved protein that functions as a post-translational modification of proteins. Ubiquitin plays a role in many cellular pathways including protein degradation, protein trafficking, and DNA repair. Please see the Research Interests or Publications pages to learn more specifics about our research.
