Women's Studies Student Organization (WSSO)

The Women's Studies Student Organization (WSSO) was established for students interested in women's studies or issues. The objectives of the group are to promote and encourage discussion of women's issues, provide outreach services to community programs or groups and to serve as a support for UAH's Women's Studies Resource Center (Morton Hall room 216). Members may be any students or alumni who are actively interested in women's issues or studies. While the group's main focus is of issues pertaining to women's studies, men are also encouraged to become members. To make the group productive and successful, WSSO relies on time investments or other resources instead of membership fees or dues.  Current president (1998-99) is Cindy Hughey.
