WS 460 Feminist Theory

Usual Instructor: Dr. Nancy Finley

Introduces the epistemologies and methodologies currently developing in the area of feminist theory, leading to an understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of the enterprise of feminist theory. Exposure to major debates and concepts in feminist theory, such as post-modernism, deconstructionism, and essentialism.  Prerequisite: WS 200 or permission of the instructor (same as SOC 460).

This is one of the required courses in the Women's Studies minor.
