MGT 462 Employment Law for Managers

This course provides an excellent way for students to become acquainted with their legal rights as employees under laws dealing with employment discrimination, workplace health and focuses on laws prohibiting employers from discriminating against their employees on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, national, origin, or having a disability (EEOC). It covers issues such as Title VII, sexual harassment, comparable worth, family medical leave, and provides in-depth analysis of rights of women as employees.

This counts as one of the core courses in the Women's Studies minor.
