**A Girl's World Online Clubhouse - a totally girl-powered website, inviting contributions from girls. Alice says "it was fun to look around in and do some of the stuff."
*SmartGirl - says their goal is "promoting media either designed for or made by girls and women"; includes reviews of computer games, movies, videos--all written by girls. Has a bulletin board section where members can write in questions about school, parents, jobs, money, body, etc. (There's a sign-in for members, which requires establishing that you area girl aged 12-20 and having a review accepted to be posted on the site.) Alice liked this one, too: "a good website also because it's like a magazine and it's sortta like the others."

GirlSite - online community aimed at empowering girls
Go-Girl - describes itself as a "socially-savvy center of Go Girl fun!" Looks sort of like an online magazine, with departments for Beauty, Fitness, Fashion, Play & Study. They also seem to be mostly selling products.
