Women's Studies Education Fund
The Women's Studies Education Fund is an endowment that supports a broad
range of UAH Women's Studies program activities, such as:
-
support for student and faculty research and travel to conferences
-
equipment in support of the Womens Studies program
-
curricular aids, such as books, videos, CDs, etc.
-
expenses for events that Womens Studies sponsors or co-sponsors (to
include catering fees or food, beverage, and associated costs, as well as
other costs)
-
Salmon Library development for Womens Studies
-
subsidies to underwrite tickets or registration fees to broaden the audience
of those who can attend Womens Studies events (i.e., for those who
cannot afford the fees)
The Women's Studies program relies heavily on external financial support
for all of these activities. We are very grateful for the generous
contributions of the donor who made this endowment possible, and for the
many others who continue to contribute their time and money to Women's Studies
at UAH.
