Scholarships

The Alumni Association is proud to provide scholarships for UAH students. For full criteria and to apply, contact Student Financial Services at 256-824-6241.

UAH Alumni Association Annual Scholarships

The UAH Alumni Association offers 10, $3,000 scholarships annually for students who are juniors or seniors. Candidates must be currently enrolled, have a UAH grade point average of at least 3.0, verifiable campus involvement, and be willing to report to the Alumni Association Board of Directors in person on their academic and career objectives.

UAH Alumni Association Endowed Scholarships

The UAH Alumni Association Endowed Scholarships are based on financial need and favor the selection of freshmen. Other criteria include an ACT score of at least 25, a high school grade point average of at least 3.4, participation in extra curricular activities, and community involvement. The scholarships are renewable provided the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average at the university.

UAH Alumni Association-Jesse P. Stutts Endowed Scholarship

The UAH Alumni Association-Jesse P. Stutts Endowed Scholarship is awarded to full-time students who maintain a grade point average of at least 3.0, participate in extracurricular activities and demonstrate a commitment to community service. Entering freshmen must have an ACT score of at least 25 and a high school grade point average of at least 3.4. Freshmen must have participated in extra curricular activities in high school and demonstrate a commitment to community service. The scholarships are renewable provided the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average at the university.
