Constanza Saravia Holland�s professional interests include women writers in Latin American literature and the depiction of Colombia in literature and the media. She graduated from UAH in 2001 with a B.A. in Foreign Languages and International Trade. She went on to earn her M.A. in Hispanic Studies from Auburn University in 2003.

She has taught Spanish for the last seven years in Alabama, California and Virginia. She currently teaches Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses at UAH. In addition, she is in charge of the Mexico Study Abroad Program to Guanajuato.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to Mexico with her husband Alex, where they camp and surf along the Pacific Coast and explore pre-Columbian ruins in the highlands. She can tell you all about driving in or visiting Mexico whatever your mode of travel. She also likes to travel to her home country Colombia to visit family. When she is at home, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading, working in her herb garden and exercising.
