    The purpose of this site is to help us all enjoy our time together in the classroom.  The better you understand German, the more you will enjoy coming to class.  And the more you understand, the more exciting it is for me too.

    There are a fair number of ways of earning extra credit in some of our courses.   Keep your eyes open for offerings in this website, or make up one of your own and suggest it to me.

 

          On a personal note, one of my favorite art forms is the short poem of Japanese origin called haiku.  Click here for an informal members' anthology for Haiku Society of America (HSA) writers living in the Southeastern United States.
