Julie Freeman Julie Butler Freeman is originally from Cullman, Alabama. Her professional interests include Latin American literature and poetry. In 2001, she received a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Art in Spanish from Mississippi State University. She went on to earn a Master's of Hispanic Studies from Auburn University in 2007. She has been teaching Elementary Spanish for the last three years. She has a strong desire to help students discover new perspectives and broaden their cultural understanding through language acquisition. She has traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico and the Dominican Republic and combines her cultural experiences from these travels into her classroom activities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, expanding her knowledge of Latin music and traveling with her husband Reggie. |
