Wednesday, January 20,
11:30 - 12:25 , "Art and Artists in Contemporary Literature," with visiting novelist Robin Lippincott.  Frank Franz Multi-purpose room (across from Morton Hall), UAHuntsville campus.

Thursday, January 21,  7:30 p.m.  "Literature and Historical Atrocity,” readings with visiting novelist Robin Lippincott.   University Center room 126, UAHuntsville campus. Reception and book signing to follow at nearby Union Grove Gallery.

Sunday, January 24, 2-4 p.m.
"Information and Imagination." Draws on her forthcoming novel Adam & Eve, and how extraterrestrial life exploration and research into prehistoric cave paintings have influenced the novel thematically.
Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Hertha Heller Forum.   Reception follows talk.
Location:  Huntsville Public Library, auditorium of the main branch, 915 Monroe St. in downtown Huntsville.  Free admission.  (Note: the speaker originally scheduled for this date had to cancel, and this talk replaces that one.)

Tuesday, February 2, 6 p.m.: "When I Write a Woman, She Has Friends"
Sena Naslund will talk about the importance of friends in the process of her writing and also about friendships among women in her three major novels.
Location: St. Mark's Lutheran Church, corner of Longwood and Franklin in downtown Huntsville.
