Partnerships Overview
Faculty and students in the Department of Education are committed to establishing and continuing partnerships that expand the role of UAH in the education of children and teachers in this community and to demonstrate in a tangible way our commitment to the quality of education in the Huntsville-Madison County area.
Education faculty have provided leadership and professional development for teachers participating in statewide reform initiatives to enhance the teaching of reading, science, and math. Students who serve as tutors and role models have helped to initiate positive changes in the lives of many children and have been an invaluable resource for the faculty and staff of our participating schools.
