Graduate Programs

"Within the Education Department, professors’ doors are open to students, providing academic and sometimes personal support. The Education Department aims to create a successful teaching experience in conjunction with each and every prospective teacher, taking into consideration experience, personal strengths and professional goals."

The Department of Education collaborates with the Colleges of Liberal Arts and the College of Science and local schools to offer graduate teacher preparation programs that are built upon a broad liberal education based. The certification programs are content-rich with diverse field experiences integrated into all professional education coursework.
