Marin Abell is an educator and transdisciplinary artist who works

both collectively and individually. His creative practices often take the form of sculptural events that explore individual and cultural identities.

Marin Abell holds a BFA in Sculpture from James Madison University and a MFA in Sculpture and Expanded Practice from Ohio University. He has served as the Director of Outreach at Spiro Arts in Park City, UT. Marin Abell has taught at the University of Michigan and Ohio University and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in UAH School of Art and Art History's Sculpture Department.
