Fall 2012 Entrepreneurs Roundtable
Entrepreneurs and the Commercialization of Space
On Thursday, November 8th, the College of Business Administration will host our Fall 2012 Entrepreneurs Roundtable
For this Entrepreneurs Roundtable, we are focusing on the role of entrepreneurs in commercializing space. 
Our Roundtable will include successful entrepreneurs who will talk about their experience "launching" and growing space businesses and the specific opportunities and challenges they have experienced. Our expected panelists include:
  • Dennis Wingo, founder of SkyCorp, co-founder of Orbital Recovery, and author of Moonrush: Improving Life on Earth with the Moon's Resources. 
  • Tim Pickens, former Commercial Space Advisor and Chief Propulsion Engineer for Dynetics, founder of both Orion Propulsion and Pickens Innovations,  and the team leader for Rocket City Space Pioneers.
  • Robert L. Sackheim, former NASA Assistant Center Director, Chief Engineer for Space Propulsion, and Director of the Propulsion & Combustion Systems Center at TRW (Northrup-Grumman), and was involved with SpaceX / Elon Musk.
