Post Jobs for Off-Campus (Non-Degreed) Student Employment
About Posting Jobs With UAH Career Services
The Off-Campus Student Employment Program provides job opportunities for students currently enrolled at UAH.
The Job Location and Development Program (JLD), a financial aid program funded by the U.S.
Department of Education, makes this service possible. All currently enrolled UAH students are eligible to seek
off-campus employment through this program regardless of financial need.
Postings are for full and part-time positions (we include Paid
Internships and Seasonal positions under
this category). We do not list positions for jobs in private residences, charge a fee to candidates,
or require an “investment” on the part of the job candidate.
Depending on the position, and employer request for the service, UAH Career Services will conduct a database
search based on basic qualifications and/or student interests and refer resumes to the employer via email.
To continue to qualify for funding to operate this program, UAH is required to report the number of students
hired through this program and the total earnings of those students to the U.S. Department of Education. As a
result, employers listing positions through this program will be requested to provide this information if they
hire a UAH student. (Please note that we are not required to report names with salaries and will not ask you to
provide the names of employed students).
