| Introduction
I am coming to the UAH Department of Biological Sciences
with an background in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry. My
educational areas of specialization have included plant pathology and
biotechnology applications. My professional employment has included
companies such as Research Genetics, DuPont DeNemours and Monsanto Corporation
in St. Louis. I enjoy looking at the application side of the biological
sciences and how basic research can lead to improvements in our overall quality
of life.
