Implementation Management Team
The Implementation Management Team reports to the Project Oversight
Committee. The chairperson of the Implementation Management Team is
a member of the Project Oversight Committee and is accountable to the
Project Oversight Committee.
The Project Oversight committee and the Implementation Management Team
will be chaired by university CIO, Don Halverstadt.
Members of the Implementation Management Team may be required to dedicate
from 25% to 50% of their time to this project.
The Implementation Management Team will:
Develop the overall implementation plan, set implementation milestones
and ensure objectives are achieved
Request support as necessary to ensure that resources are available
to meet implementation requirements
Provide status and progress reports to the Project Oversight Committee
Control project scope
Prioritize and manage change requests
Formulate and present policy change requests to the Project Oversight
Committee
Develop an overall implementation framework, including allocation
of technical and functional resources to the application areas (Coordination
Teams)
Approves the major tasks, issues and priorities established by the
Coordination Teams
Guides and directs the Process Teams to ensure congruency within the
component application of the Banner® systems, and ensures time-line
is respected
Arbitrates problems and conflicts that arise during implementation
and has ultimate authority and decision-making power
Communicates with the University community
Review and discuss issues submitted from the Coordination Teams for
resolution and approval
Screens request for enhancements and granting approval if feasible
and if necessary
Refers higher-level issues to the Project Oversight Committee for
resolution
Advise the Project Oversight Committee with respect to decision-making
beyond Implementation Management Committee authority.
