Academic Advising

Academic Advising is defined as a decision-making process during which students realize their maximum educational potential through communication and information exchange with an advisor. Academic advising consists of discussing options, plans, and requirements to meet academic goals.

In the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences, students work with two academic advisors to develop a Program of Study (POS). The Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences advisors are Frank Bell and Amy Smeal.
