UAH Student Art Club UAH Student Art Club is one of the most dynamic clubs on campus. Open to all, the club sponsors the annual Holiday Art Show and Sale and goes on field trips as close to home as Lowe Mill and as far away as New York City. They hold figure drawing nights, have parties, and fund prizes for the juried student show. Student Advertising Federation The UAH Student Advertising Federation (SAF) is UAH's design and advertising club. A member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the American Advertising Federation of North Alabama (AAFNA), SAF is a creative resource for students who want to explore advertising, learn more about design, and network with industry professionals. Kappa Pi Outstanding students may be invited to join the Kappa Pi International Honorary Art Fraternity. The hundred-year-old organization has dedicated itself to promoting artistic excellence at the college level and beyond. Members are eligible for scholarships through the national organization and are awarded certificates, cards, jewelry, and honor cords. Archaeological Institute of America North Alabama Society The Archaeological Institute of America – North Alabama Society invites top scholars on a wide rage of archaeological topics, from cave art to Constantine, come to speak at UAH every semester. Co-sponsored by the AIA North Alabama chapter and the UAH Department of Art, Art History and Design, these speakers present fascinating talks, free for students and community members alike. AIA is North America's oldest and largest organization devoted to the world of archaeology.
