Welcome Class of 2018

The entire Charger Nation has set aside Monday, February 17^th to celebrate your accomplishments and admission to The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).

This special day is designed for you and your family to visit and explore UAH. Whether you come for the day or an overnight adventure you’ll get the inside scoop from current students, amazing faculty, and student success counselors. You’ll learn more about our degrees that matter in the real world, get a campus tour, and most likely meet your new best friend. Other activities planned just for you include:

• Sitting in on real classes

• Talking with professors in your interest area

• Checking out the very cool new residence hall suites

There's even a special session just for your parents and family members.

You Have Visit Options

Option 1: The Sunday Overnight Stay

Get the real campus life experience by staying overnight with a student host the Sunday night before the Admitted Student Day (Monday). This option as space is limited to the first 75 students. This option is available only for entering First Time Freshman. Once registered, an admissions counselor will follow up with you concerning the necessary permission forms/waivers.

Option 2: The Monday Admitted Student Day

This is the single day option. Check-in is 7:30-8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast will be available. Check out the Admitted Student Day program and come with a great attitude, an open mind and lots of questions.
