Weekday Campus Visitation Program

Geared toward the prospective first year student, the Campus Visitation Program provides information on admission criteria, financial aid, housing, scholarship opportunities and student life. Attending an information session with other families provides you the opportunity to learn about UAH, ask your questions, and hear questions from other students and parents that you may not ask or want to ask. Sessions generally last about 45 minutes to an hour.

Your visit will also include a walking tour of campus led by a current UAH student! The student-guided campus tour will help prospective student and families experience and understand the community spirit that exists at UAH. You'll get the scoop on our academic facilities and a few historical notes about the campus, and maybe a personal anecdote or two. During your tour, you will visit our athletic complex, fitness center, classrooms, the library and a residence hall! Tours follow the information sessions and last approximately one hour, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

While you are on the UAH campus, we can also arrange for you to observe a class, meet with an academic advisor, and/or have lunch in our all-you-can-eat Charger Café!

Nothing can take the place of a visit to our beautiful campus! Choose a day and time that is convenient for you. The Campus Visitation Program is offered daily (Monday- Friday) at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

All campus tours require prior registration. Because space is limited, we encourage all guests to register for their campus visit at least one week in advance. Sessions will close once capacity is reached.

To ensure our guests have the most productive visit to UAH, below is a list of dates to avoid. During these times, students are in examinations, on vacation, or offices and residence halls are closed.

March 17-21, 2008 - UAH Spring Break
April 8, 2008 - UAH Honors Day
April 24-30, 2008 - Final Exams - Spring
May 26, 2008 - Memorial Day
July 4, 2008 - Independence Day
July 30 - August 1, 2008 - Final Exams - Summer

Please note that during the following time periods, UAH classes are not in session. However the Admissions Office will still provide information sessions and campus tours:

December 10 – 21, 2007
May 1 – 23, 2008
August 4 – 15, 2008
