Peggy Masters DIRECTOR OF UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS firstname.lastname@example.org 256.824.2771 About Peggy What made you want to work in Admissions? I am a strong supporter of everyone continuing with education. I loved my college experience so much that I wanted to be able to help students have the same great opportunity I did. I love that I have the chance to work closely with students and parents as they navigate the college search process. It may be a stressful time, but the payoff is worth it. Your college years can be some of the best times of your life! What is the best advice you can give a high school student? Have fun with the process! The most important thing is to determine if a college or university is the best fit for you. The only way to do that is to see it for yourself. Do your own research online and learn about what makes that specific place special. It’s also a good idea to attend multiple campus visits. Sign up for a personal tour, sit in on a class, go to an open house and participate in an overnight program. The best way to find out if a school is right for you is to experience it! What is your favorite part of UAH? Not being from this area, my favorite thing about UAH is how friendly the entire campus community is. Everyone goes out of their way to make people feel welcomed. The amount of activities that happen on campus is also impressive. There is truly something for everyone here at UAH! What are your hobbies? I am an avid reader, and you can always find with me a book close by. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to shop and travel and it’s the best of both worlds when they can be combined into one!
