About Ale

Where did you go to college?

I graduated from UAH with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013. I then decided to stay at UAH to complete my Master of Business Administration in 2015.

When you were a student, what were some of your favorite things about UAH?

I’ve been part of UAH for six years now, and I love everything about it. As an undergrad and grad student, I’ve been involved in so many organizations, such as Greek Life, UAH Tennis Team, Salsa Club, National Society of Leadership and Success, Society of Human Resources Management, and many more. I’ve also worked for UAH Housing and Residence Life and UAH Athletics. Getting involved in different organizations is what made me grow as a person and improve my leadership skills. I also loved my professors and advisors. They were always there to help me with anything I needed.

What made you want to become an Admissions Counselor?

I became an Admissions Counselor because I want students to know the awesome opportunities UAH has to offer. I want to share with them the amazing experiences I had here and tell them they can have it too! I love talking about the great academic programs UAH has and how living on campus and getting involved has helped me become who I am today.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are listening to music, going for long runs, playing tennis, dancing, watching Netflix, and of course, playing with my puppy, Emilio.
