We're Making Changes to Benefit You!
The Office of Admissions wants you to know about some exciting changes at UAH that will benefit you as a future Charger! We’ve made these changes in support of the university’s commitment to helping you complete your degree in four years and make the most of your college experience:
More AP scores accepted
AP credit award criteria have been revised so that UAH accepts more scores for admitted students beginning Fall 2014! More details here.
Increased credit hour limit for Merit Tuition Scholarship
The credit hour limit for Merit Tuition Scholarship awards has been increased from 16 to 18 hours per semester!
Now reviewing your latest high school transcripts
UAH is now evaluating your high school GPA for admission and scholarships based on the transcript sent at time of admission. If your GPA increases between your admission and your high school graduation, your Merit Tuition Scholarship will be re-evaluated and adjusted as appropriate based on the final transcript sent.
UAH moving to block tuition
Instead of paying by the credit hour, full-time students will soon be able to pay a flat rate for tuition per semester for 12 to 18 credit hours! You can learn more about the transition to this financially advantageous structure here and its impact for 2014-15 in the tuition table here.
