Astrophysics major
“I zeroed in on UAHuntsville because of its astrophysics program. I’m a senior now, a double major in astrophysics and math, an Honors student, and winner of the Physics Department Award. I also spent two summers in a full-time research co-op, perfecting data systems for a missile defense program. And, I was also trained and hired as PASS leader, helping other students in my mentor’s astronomy class. Next stop: My Ph.D. Next next stop: University professor!”
