Rules for New Passwords

One of the common problems with passwords is that users forget them. To make them memorable, they often choose very simple passwords that are not very secure. To protect your UAHuntsville accounts, P-Synch requires new passwords to conform to the following security rules: |
Your password must:
- have at least 8 character(s).
- have upper and lower case characters.
- have at least 3 letter(s).
- have at least 1 digit(s).
- not be your profile ID or name.
- not be your profile ID or name reversed.
- not contain your profile ID or name.
- not contain your profile ID or name reversed.
- not contain your profile ID or name with the letters rearranged.
- not be your profile ID or name with the letters rearranged.
- not have more than 2 pair(s) of repeating characters.
- contain characters that can be typed on a standard English (US) keyboard.
