Campus Email System (email.uah.edu)

General information:

The Campus Email System is the official email host computer for the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  Other email systems are currently operated on campus, but this is the only one operated and managed by Computer & Network Services and considered as the official email system for UAH.

The Campus Email System provides access to the POP protocol for Internet email packages such as Eudora, Microsoft's InBox, Microsoft's Outlook or Netscape Communicator email.  A new WebMail interface provides access to your Campus Email System email account via virtually any web browser.

The Campus Email System like most email servers requires a valid login and password.  The account request process is described below:

Students:

Did you know that once you are registered to attend classes an email account is automatically created for you?

Accounts don't cost you anything and are created automatically by the Campus Email System each term for each student who is registered for classes.  If you are registered for classes It is not necessary for you to complete an Account Request form.

How do I begin using my UAH student email account?

We have created a web page especially for you.  Point your web browser to the UAH WebMail login screen http://webmail.uah.edu  When you arrive, check out the link entitled "Need some help getting started with your Campus Email System User Account and WebMail?"  Here you'll find information on acquiring your Campus Email System login name and initial password.  Information is included on this page just in case you run into problems.

Faculty and Staff Employees:

Did you know that, as an employee of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, you are entitled to an email account on the Campus EMail System?  Accounts are available "free of charge" to all UAH Faculty and Staff employees, however, you will need to request your account.  For your convenience we have included both Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF versions of the form below.
