Group Term Life Insurance is provided by MetLife. Premiums are paid by the University and coverage varies with salary as indicated below:

NOTE Age Reductions:
From age 65 to 70, the amount of your insurance decreases to 65%
From age 70 and after, the amount of your insurance decreases to 50%
This reduction in benefits does not apply to retirees.

Portability: The portability feature allows you to continue coverage if you terminate employment. You must apply and pay for portable coverage within 31 days after your insurance ends.
