UAHuntsville Employee Awards


UAH FOUNDATION STAFF AWARDS

Each year, the UAHuntsville community recognizes those employees who go beyond the ordinary requirements of their jobs and who have made a difference at UAHuntsville. The recipients of these prestigious awards will be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a check for $1,000 at a special awards ceremony.


SERVICE AWARDS

It is the policy of The University of Alabama in Huntsville to recognize the contributions of long-term faculty and staff members by honoring them at an annual ceremony where service awards are presented by the president of the University.


Eligibility for service recognition is based upon the most recent Credited Service Date, which is the date of appointment to full-time permanent status with the University. Awards will be presented to employees completing 10 years of full-time permanent service and for each five years thereafter (10, 15, 20, 25 etc.)


Service times for employees hired for temporary or part-time positions will not be included. If an individual changes from temporary or part-time to full-time permanent status, the accumulation of service time begins on the date the employee attains permanent full-time status.
