The UAH Physical Plant Building houses many departments and is the base area for the campus Police Department.

The personnel located in the Physical Plant Building are responsible for the maintenance of everything from grounds to motor pool vehicles. This also includes a variety of functional operations such as electrical, water, gas, and other utilities for the UAH campus.

The Facilities & Operations Department, located in the Physical Plant Building, supplies maintenance for the ever expanding UAH campus which occupies 350 acres of land and has over 1.5 million gross sq. ft. of building space. As you might suspect, this requires a great deal of coordination and management as well as professional and sagacious work on the part of the Facilities & Operations team.
