News ServicesA Service of University RelationsThe Office of News Services provides media relations service to the UAH community to achieve visibility in the media for academic and administrative units, with emphasis on the Huntsville, regional, and national media. The office serves as the primary point of contact for reporters seeking information about UAH. The office obtains print and broadcast coverage by identifying opportunities in breaking news and trend stories and by placing news and features in newspapers, magazines, as well as broadcast and cable TV outlets. News Services also publishes Insight, a bi-monthly campus newsletter as well as a quarterly magazine for the UAH Alumni Association, periodic newsletters for the various colleges and an annual research publication. The Office of News Services is involved with public relations planning for special events, crisis public relations, and strategic planning in public relations.
