The Society of Physics Students

The University of Alabama in Huntsville Chapter of the Society of Physics Students is the oldest student organization on campus, founded on January 29, 1969. In September 2006, the Chapter was rechartered by the UAH Student Government Association.

The object of the organization is to create and stimulate interest in physics, promote understanding and appreciation of physics in the academic and local communities, promote friendship and the exchange of ideas among those who have similar interests, and introduce students to the professional community.

Any UAH student may join the UAH Chapter of SPS regardless of academic major, age, class level, or national membership.

Meetings have concluded for the Fall Semester. Good luck with final exams, have a great winter break, and we'll see you in January.
