Djamila Ahmedjanova, formerly a student assistant in our office, got married to Derek Morrison last August, 2008, at Annabella House. The couple dated for five years, and both are UAHuntsville alumni. Djamila's mom was visiting from Uzbekistan and helping her with the wedding ceremony. Congrats!

OIPS is proud to announce the birth of Sophia Carolyn Sobai! Born May 22, 2008 to Abbes and Kathleen Sobai. Kathleen is the Program Assistant in our office and Abbes is a UAHuntsville 2006 alumnus who is currently in Morocco, but hopes to be united soon with baby and Mommy. Sophia weighed in at 8lbs 7 oz. and 19 ¾ “ tall. Both Mommy and baby are doing fine! Congratulations! Welcome, Sophia!
