Guidance for UAH Departments on Inviting Internationals

Faculty candidates are invited to visit our campus often. At this time, it is important that our office be included in the interviews to verify work authorization. Please contact Marisa Atencio for scheduling a convenient time to meet with the candidate.

UAH Departments anticipating visits from faculty candidates who are not U.S. Citizens as well as Research Centers anticipating hiring international researchers should contact our office first to discuss the best possible visa to bring the visitor on. Cooperation between the department or center, UAH Staff Employment, and our office will be necessary to legally bring the visitor here for purposes of employment.
