The United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs authorizes the UAH Office of Immigration Administration to administer the Cultural Exchange Program on campus covering international students, faculty, scholars, and researchers, and short-time visitors. Participants receive a J visa and our office provides support in the form of insurance compliance, orientation, visa extension as needed, assistance forms for visiting family members, etc. The UAH department/research center interested in hiring an individual through the Cultural Exchange Program must complete the Request for Participation in Cultural Exchange Program form Part A (Word File, PDF file will be available soon) and, after it has been properly approved by the chair and dean, the department/research center must forward it to our office for further approval. |
