Peter and the Wolf (IBM)

The IBM version of Peter and the Wolf is designed for preschool and elementary children. A young boy named Peter is taken to a concert hall for a performance of Prokofieff's work as narrated by Tony Randall. The story is divided into eight parts, one each for Peter, the bird, the duck, the cat, the grandfather, the wolf, and the hunters, plus one for the processional at the end. The student can choose to play the entire story, or any individual scene. Between scenes, the Peter in the concert hall fools around in the theater. Clicking on the orchestra allows the student to go backstage and play the instruments representing each of the characters.
