The world is changing, and in times of change there is opportunity. UAH created a curriculum
that embraces the opportunity of our times. By melding classes in the disciplines of information
technology, communication arts, and graphic design, UAH has generated a unique program of study for
web cognate students. The cognate is an intensive undertaking, consisting of 40 hours of instruction
across these inter-related fields. The result is a graduate who has an exceptional array of web
development skills, an individual who is uniquely educated for work in the web development world.
