The opportunities presented by campus clubs and organization can be an education in itself. Most web
cognate students will have a natural interest in the NMC, but there are other organizations on campus
that bear web development interests. We've listed them here, as well as a link to the Huntsville Web
Developers Guild web site, for those interested in the local professional web developers'
organization.

New Media Consortium
The New Media Consortium is for students from any discipline or
major who have an interest in web theories and technologies. It
meets biweekly on Tuesdays in the Morton Hall 343. See www.uah.edu/NMC.
SAF@UAH
The Student Advertising Federation at UAH is the student chapter of the Tennessee Valley Advertising Federation, and targets primarily graphic design students. It meets on the last Thursday of each month.

The Association of Information Technology Professionals targets those students interested in MIS and web technologies. It meets Wednesdays at lunchtime.
Charger ACM
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an organization comprised of professionals and students dedicated to furthering the field of computer technology.
Marketing Club
The UAH Marketing Club is a campus wide organization to inform marketing majors and other students interested in business about the changing industry. Our goal is to bring in speakers from various aspects of marketing to further educate members, in preparation or tomorrow's business world.
