Experience: 2nd season. 2006: A member of the Preseason All-GSC team, an injury sidelined Shannon for the year. Academically, she was a UAH Athletics Bronze Scholar and a member of the College of Science Dean's List. 2005: Shannon played in a little over half of the Lady Chargers' games (78), but she made the best of her opportunities. She was fifth on the team in scoring with 153 kills (1.96 kpg). She also had 41 aces and 140 digs to go with 21 blocks. Prep: Shannon helped lead Huntsville High to three consecutive 5A State Championships (2002, 2003, 2004). She was named to the 5A All-State tournament team in 2004, the 5A Region All-Tournament team in 2003 and 2004 and 5A Area All-Tournament team in 2003 and 2004. As a junior, Shannon was named 2nd team All-State and Huntsville Times 2nd team All-Metro. In her senior season, she was named Huntsville Times 1st team All-Metro and Birmingham News Super All-Star.
